Christopher P. Gengaro

Christopher P. Gengaro was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey in 1989. He received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1989, having previously earned his B.A. from Boston College in 1986. Mr. Gengaro began practicing as an associate with Sills Cummis Zuckerman Radin Tischman Epstein & Gross in September 1989. He left Sills Cummis and became associated with the firm of Nagel & Rice in 1991.

Mr. Gengaro concentrates his practice in all types of litigation, including commercial litigation, matrimonial matters, declaratory judgment actions and tort cases, for both plaintiffs and defendants, in State and Federal Court. He has handled numerous jury trials and bench trials including plenary hearings before New Jersey's Chancery Court having filed or defended numerous Orders to Show Cause in cases such as employers seeking to enforce restrictive covenants on an emergent basis.

In addition, Mr. Gengaro is an experienced matrimonial attorney who handles the full range of family law matters including divorces, child support, alimony, and custody issues. He has handled complicated and emergency situations involving child custody and visitation issues before New Jersey's Family Court and has conducted both divorce and custody trials and appeals.

Mr. Gengaro also has extensive experience before the New Jersey Appellate Courts, having successfully litigated numerous appeals, including emergent appeals before the Appellate Division and New Jersey Supreme Court.
