Biography

Christopher P. Gengaro was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey in 1989. He is also admitted to practice in New York and Washington, D.C. He received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1989, and his B.A. from Boston College in 1986.

Mr. Gengaro has been a practicing attorney for over 20 years. He concentrates his practice in all types of litigation, including commercial litigation, matrimonial matters, breach of contract cases, partnership disputes, and tort actions, for both plaintiffs and defendants, in state and federal court. He has handled numerous jury trials and bench trials including plenary hearings before New Jersey's Chancery Court and has filed or defended numerous Orders to Show Cause seeking injunctive relief. Mr. Gengaro also has extensive experience before the New Jersey Appellate Courts, having successfully litigated numerous appeals before the Appellate Division and New Jersey Supreme Court.

In addition, Mr. Gengaro is an experienced matrimonial attorney who handles the full range of family law matters including divorces, child support, alimony, and custody issues. He has handled complicated and emergency situations involving child custody and visitation issues before the New Jersey Family Court and has conducted both divorce and custody trials and appeals.

Mr. Gengaro also handles a range of corporate issues, including the formation of corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships and is experienced in the negotiation and drafting of partnership and shareholder agreements.
